Founded in 2011 by Diane Superville, Fashion for Charity, a 501(c)3 organization, was created with a heart for community, creativity, and service. Recognizing the opportunity to grow that vision, Superville positioned Dr. Karine Melissa to lead the organization and expand its work through education, skill development, creative opportunity, and community impact.
Under Karine’s leadership, that mission has evolved into programming designed to help people not only discover their potential—but develop the skills to do something with it.
The work has included summer camp programs, youth personal development initiatives, community life-skills and workforce training, skill-building and résumé development courses, and sewing programs for youth and adults designed to turn creativity into practical, transferable skills.
Today, Fashion for Charity sits at the intersection of creativity, education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity.
Through community programming, strategic partnerships, internships, educational experiences, and LOUD® — Love of Urban Design, Fashion for Charity continues building pathways that move people from:

Fashion for Charity is committed to developing the next generation of creative talent. Through our LOUD® partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ Summer Youth Internship Program and Academic Year Internship Program, students gain real-world exposure to the business and culture of the creative industries.
From fashion, art, media, marketing, content creation, event production, entrepreneurship, and beyond, LOUD® interns experience creativity beyond the classroom—working alongside professionals, contributing to real projects, and exploring career pathways they may have never imagined.
We’re not just introducing youth to creative careers. We’re helping them see that their creativity can become their future.
