What are significant obstacles in your industry as an urban creative? How have you been able to push through these obstacles in your industry?
In my industry, it is hard to find dependable people to work with. It is a very expensive business and there is just not enough time. I made the necessary steps to place myself in a position that pays well and keeps me in close contact with creatives like myself.
In the case of time, I prioritize what is most important.
Share a great moment or accomplishment in your career?
Having my name in the credits of Canadian Network Television.
What advice would you give to an aspiring creative who wants to thrive in your industry?
Push yourself. Realize what you’re good at and keep working towards your goals. Don’t be discouraged when your art doesn’t look conventional, originality is scarce but necessary.
