Contrastingly, delayed gratification requires a plethora of patience, skill, and perseverance- alongside those values, youth must find a balance between the world and their dreams. Simply saying it accredits too much to a vision and not enough to the reality, which makes acclaimed artistry and stardom that much more impressive. Today’s youth benefits greatly from technology, and placing the blame solely on the digital age does nothing but drag the world backward. However, something that is important and impactful to youth culture is not fearing it, but fully embracing it, while holding pure, authentic works to a golden standard and teaching its impacts to garner inspiration could be a stronghold to pave the way for them.

Furthermore, motivation is not always found in the process of creative works, but it can be found in a way that can alter someone’s perspective of the world. Albeit very complex, in Layman’s terms, it is a repetition of creating a new and unheard point of view more digestible for audiences that are willing to hear. Delayed gratification comes into play when it is worth the payoff of making a real-world change; it does not need to be as deep as this, either. Simply expressing your vision of an idea, if it is rooted in authenticity, can do so much for a person. Motivation does not even need to be rooted in others; it can be for yourself and your life as you may know it. Not everyone needs to be in front of the cameras every day, and that’s okay.

All art forms of different shapes and sizes are impactful in their own right; that’s the beauty of something so humane and naturally occurring.
